SWHRC Spirit

As we now approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I sat back and thought about all the things happening in
the world right now, some things new and some things that we haven’t had to experience in a while.
And through it all, I am astounded by the resiliency of the human spirit. That couldn’t be more true of
the Human Resources professionals working in your organizations today, whether they are solely
providing HR services to you or whether they have taken on HR as a component of their other daily
duties.

Many of these HR representatives have been instrumental in working with your management team or
yourselves as business owners to roll out programs over the course of the last two-and-a-half years
which have allowed employees to complete critical work from home and ensured employees were safe
within the workplace when they returned. In addition, they have been working tirelessly to try to retain
your most critical employees during a period of unprecedented competition for human capital and in
many cases have spent hours trying to recruit the perfect candidate in this same period when turnover
has occurred. They are working daily with both new employees and existing employees to ensure
concerns are addressed and morale remains high. If you haven’t had a chance yet to thank your HR
representatives, take a moment to say how thankful you are for everything they have done.
If you are a growing business who needs HR support but can’t afford to create a full-time HR position
within your organization, contact us at Southwestern HR Consulting (SWHRC). We can provide as
