New Mexico Minimum Wage Rates for 2022
As we enter the new year, it is important that employers check their wages against the new minimum wage rates effective January 2022. For wage rates within the State of New Mexico, the highest wage rate will be effective. See the following link for more information on the wage rates and to access mandatory postings in New Mexico.
New Mexico Minimum Wage is now $11.50
Tipped Minimum Wage is $2.80
All rates, other than the minimum wage rates for Federal Contractors, are effective January 1st. The increase to Federal Contractor minimum wage is effective for new contracts or contracts being renewed or extended on or after January 30th.
